Please help us to work within the Game and Inland Fisheries enforcement division guidelines if you are attending or participating in this year's festival. We use state property at Wingina, Scottsville, Cartersville, and Maiden's Landing and need to be aware of and comply with the following simple rules. Violation of these rules places future use of these sites in jeopardy.

  1. Public display of alcohol is prohibited on state property and or around the ramps.
  2. Camping is not permitted on the state property. (we obtain permission to camp on private property adjacent to the DGIF land. Please be sure you are camped in an appropriate place, if you're not sure please ask someone.)
  3. No swimming is permitted at the ramp or off state property.
  4. Festival participants need to comply with all personal flotation rules the same as any boat.
  5. The ramp area must be kept open and clear for the general public to use during the festival.

Remember that the festival relies on the use and state property and needs to cooperate with the various state agencies who manage them. Please don't create problems for future festivals by ignoring these rules.

2008 Site Information

In an effort to help those who are spending their week on the river away from vehicles etc, the JRBF committee attempts to secure meals, ice, and water wherever possible. Information to help you plan your week is below and also on the Site Information portion of this website.

Camping permission

The festival has secured adequate space for camping at all sites. Please be sure you are respectful of the property, much of which is made available to us by private landowners. If you are not sure where camping is permitted, please ask one of the committee members who will be present at all sites or Jean at the T-shirt Booth. No camping is to be permitted on DGIF property!
